Wedding Dress Shopping Timeline

Whether your big day is 12-18 months away or just around the corner, we've got tips to help you find the perfect dress without stress.

For those early planners, if you have 12-18 months until your wedding, we recommend starting your dress shopping early. This is because dresses can take up to 6 months to be made and delivered, as each one is custom-ordered in your size, colour, and preferred length. We also recommend about 3 months for alterations with a seamstress to ensure the perfect fit.

So, why start 12-18 months ahead? Extra time means you can enjoy the experience without rushing. It also allows for a separate accessories appointment when your dress arrives, rather than ordering veils and headpieces at the same time.

We suggest scheduling your hair trial for the same day you collect your dress to ensure everything looks perfect together.

If your wedding is sooner or you love a good bargain, we have a range of 'Take Me Away Today' dresses. These dresses are ready for immediate alterations and can be taken directly to the seamstress, eliminating the wait for delivery. Our 'Take Me Away' dresses include ex-shop samples and ex-designer samples in near-perfect condition, often at up to 50% off their original price—ideal for brides with a tight timeline.

No matter your timeline or budget, we're here to help you find your dream dress. Reach out to us, and let our team make your dress dreams come true!
